Job Description: Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Franchise Development Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Salary : $5.50/hr + Bonus per deal About Us We are a rapidly growing national franchise brand in the residential construction industry, helping entrepreneurs launch and grow successful home building businesses. Our franchise development team is responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective franchise owners who are ready to invest in a proven business model. We're looking for an experienced Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to manage warm inbound franchise leads and help qualified candidates take the next step toward franchise ownership. Position Overview This is not a cold-calling role . You'll work exclusively with warm leads who have already expressed interest in learning more about our franchise opportunity. As a Senior SDR, you'll serve as the first point of contact for prospective franchise owners. You'll conduct discovery calls, qualify candidates, answer initial questions, build excitement around the opportunity, and schedule qualified appointments for our Franchise Development Executives. Because our franchisees operate residential construction businesses, we are specifically looking for candidates with experience working in or alongside custom home builders, residential construction companies, ADU builders, remodeling companies, or other home building organizations. Responsibilities Respond promptly to inbound franchise inquiries via phone, email, text, and CRM. Conduct discovery calls to understand each candidate's experience, financial qualifications, business goals, and timeline. Educate prospective franchise owners on our business model and franchise opportunity. Build trust and establish strong relationships with prospective franchisees. Qualify leads using established criteria and schedule appointments for Franchise Development Executives. Handle objections professionally and maintain consistent follow-up until a decision is reached. Maintain accurate CRM records, notes, and pipeline stages. Execute structured follow-up campaigns across multiple communication channels. Collaborate with marketing and franchise development leadership to improve lead conversion. Meet or exceed monthly activity, qualification, and appointment-setting goals. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Inside Sales, or Appointment Setting. Experience working in or selling to the residential construction or home building industry. Excellent verbal communication and relationship-building skills. Strong consultative selling and objection-handling abilities. Experience managing leads within a CRM platform (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar). Highly organized with exceptional follow-up discipline. Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in one or more of the following industries are highly preferred: Custom Home Builders ADU Builders Residential Construction Companies Design-Build Firms Home Remodeling & Renovation General Contractors New Home Sales Residential Real Estate Development Experience in any of the following roles is a plus: Senior SDR Business Development Representative (BDR) Inside Sales Representative Appointment Setter Builder Sales Representative New Home Sales Consultant Sales Coordinator Customer Success Representative supporting builders Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Speed-to-lead response time Contact rate Qualified lead percentage Appointment set rate Appointment show rate Lead-to-opportunity conversion rate CRM accuracy and follow-up compliance What Success Looks Like Successful Senior SDRs consistently: Respond quickly to every new lead.
