Senior Tax Accountant

Senior Accountant Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia — Urael Roundabout Area Employment Type: Full-Time We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of Ethiopian accounting and tax laws to join our team. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field . 5–6+ years of total accounting/finance experience. Minimum 4 years of experience in an import company — required. Strong practical knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and regulations — required. Hands-on experience with: VAT and VAT reporting Withholding tax Tax returns and declarations Tax receipt collection and documentation Quarterly and annual tax audits Tax authority compliance and correspondence Experience with import-related accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations. Strong Excel and accounting software skills. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines . Experience with pharmaceutical or construction imports is a strong advantage. Important: Candidates must have demonstrated, hands-on experience with Ethiopian tax compliance and import-company accounting .
