Job Summary The Entry-Level Construction Estimator will work remotely and support construction estimating activities, including reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing quantity takeoffs, organizing material requirements, gathering supplier and subcontractor pricing, and assisting with bid preparation. The position provides recent Civil Engineering graduates with practical exposure to U.S. construction estimating and project bidding practices. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering only Must be a 2018 E.C. graduate Basic understanding of construction drawings, specifications, materials, and construction methods Strong numerical and analytical skills High attention to detail Good computer skills Strong written and spoken English communication skills Reliable personal computer suitable for daily remote work High-speed and stable internet connection Quiet and dedicated home workspace Key Responsibilities Review construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications Assist with quantity takeoffs and material counts Identify and organize required materials and equipment Request, compile, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing Prepare basic cost estimates and client proposals Support senior estimators with bid preparation packages Maintain organized estimating files, databases, and project records Required Skill Communication Salary and Benefits Salary and benefits will be provided in accordance with the organization's pay scale and Ethiopian labor standards.
