Resident Engineering Project Coordinator – Civil, Structural & Finishing Works

WE ARE HIRINGEmployer: Bete Hiwot Design Build PLCPosition: Resident Engineering Project Coordinator – Civil, Structural & Finishing WorksApplication Deadline: 15 October 2026We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineering Project Coordinator to lead technical coordination, construction supervision, and project management for high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, residential, hotel, and other complex building projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary Client/Consultant representative on site.Coordinate consultants, contractors, designers, Clients, authorities, and project teams.Design and review structural works and coordinate multidisciplinary designs.Supervise civil, structural, architectural, interior, and finishing works.Monitor, evaluate, and follow up consultant and contractor performance.Manage construction and project planning, progress, quality, risks, and technical issues.Coordinate procurement, materials, testing, and approvals.Review contractor payments, variations, claims, and contractual documents.Prepare technical reports, contractual correspondence, and project documentation.Coordinate statutory permits and government authority inspections.Ensure compliance with quality, HSE, contractual, and regulatory requirements.Essential Qualifications & ExperienceBSc in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.Proven experience in structural design and design review.Strong experience in construction management and project management.Experience supervising and coordinating high-rise or complex building projects.Experience coordinating consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.Experience in contract administration, payment verification, variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.Strong knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications & Technical SkillsMaster's degree in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.Professional engineering registration/certification.Strong working knowledge of ETABS and SAP2000.Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM/Revit.Knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar project management tools.Experience with FIDIC or similar international construction contracts.Experience managing multiple consultants and monitoring consultant staff performance.Experience coordinating government authorities, permits, and statutory approvals.Experience with major mixed-use, commercial, residential, hotel, or real estate development projects.APPLICATION – MANDATORYAll applicants MUST complete the application form below. Applications without a completed form will not be considered.Mandatory Application Form – Complete Here📍 Location: Gurd Shola, Beside Century Mall, Addis Ababa💼 Position: Full-Time🏢 Employer: Bete Hiwot Design Build PLC📅 Application Deadline: 15 October 2026
