The Medical Doctor reports technically to the EMAT Head Doctor and administratively to the EMAT Project Manager. JOB PURPOSE: The doctor will provide evidence-based primary healthcare and emergency care (Basic Life Support (BLS), Advance Life Support (ALS), Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)), initiating and supporting medical referrals and medical evacuations to UN and WFP staff, eligible dependents and any other authorized users. Provide primary health promotion, other wellness activities contributing to the overall safety, well-being of WFP employees, eligible dependents and other authorized users in collaboration with other WFP teams. Oversee and manage the clinic and operations of the BLS/ALS ambulance based in the duty station. ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (not all-inclusive): Provide evidence-based patient care and practice in line with Medical Professional Standards and deontological norms. Deliver primary and emergency care, including assessment, examination, diagnostics, stabilization, chronic disease management, medication dispensing, and related clinical duties. Job Overview/Summary: Duration: 6 Month Eligible: Female Applicants We are seeking motivated MEAL Interns to support client responsiveness and accountability initiatives within the organization. This internship offers valuable exposure to client feedback and response mechanisms, accountability to affected populations, community engagement, and monitoring and evaluation processes in a humanitarian setting. POSITION SUMMARY The Client’s Trader is responsible for end-to-end execution of trade orders on the ESX trading system while enforcing strict pre-trade risk controls, post-trade settlement workflows, and regulatory compliance under ECMA guidelines. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Order Execution Receive and validate client buy/sell orders for listed securities (equities, fixed income). Execute orders through the trading system of the Ethiopian Securities Exchange in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure client orders are prioritized over any proprietary trading orders, in line with directives issued by the Ethiopian Capital Market Authority and exchange rules Pre-Trade Controls Verify that the client has sufficient settled funds (for purchases) or available securities (for sales) before order transmission. Confirm that order price and volume are within exchange limits and prescribed lot sizes under ESX rules. Validate that the client has given a valid, unexpired mandate (written or recorded verbal instruction), as required under applicable ECMA directives. Screen orders for potential prohibited practices such as front-running, insider trading, or market manipulation, consistent with Ethiopian capital market regulations (including directives such as Directive No. 980/2024 or subsequent updates). Automatically reject any order that fails pre-trade controls and escalate to compliance in accordance with ECMA and ESX rulebook requirements.
