We are looking for a reliable, organized, and hardworking professional to join our team. Key Responsibilities ✅ Support day-to-day accounting and finance operations under the guidance of the Finance Manager/Chief Accountant ✅ Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ✅ Ensure compliance with Ethiopian accounting standards, tax laws, VAT, withholding tax, and statutory requirements ✅ Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets ✅ Assist in developing and monitoring annual budgets and cash flow forecasts ✅ Prepare production cost reports and analyse manufacturing costs ✅ Handle raw material, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory accounting ✅ Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation with production and warehouse departments ✅ Support month-end and year-end closing activities ✅ Liaise with external auditors, banks, tax authorities, and government agencies as needed ✅ Support the implementation and strengthening of internal control systems ✅ Review and verify payment vouchers, journal entries, and bank reconciliations ✅ Monitor working capital and flag recommendations to management ✅ Prepare financial reports and management dashboards for decision-making ✅ Mentor and guide junior accounting staff ✅ Ensure proper implementation and use of ERP/accounting software About You Qualifications ✅ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field ✅ Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage Experience ✅ Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience ✅ At least 2 years in a senior accountant or similar role, preferability in Manufacturing organization ✅ Experience in a manufacturing or animal feed processing company is highly preferred Required Skills ✅ Strong knowledge of IFRS and Ethiopian tax regulations ✅ Solid understanding of manufacturing cost accounting ✅ Experience with ERP/accounting software ✅ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills ✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities ✅ Excellent communication and report-writing skills ✅ High integrity and attention to detail ✅ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines How To Apply 📩 Send your CV to: welaworkregistration@gmail.com
