Mobile Money Maintenance Engineer

Experience Level: Mid-level (3–5 years). Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree or above in Software Engineering or a related field. Key Requirements: Ability to work rotating 24/7 shifts, support nighttime system cutovers, and provide technical support during major events. Knowledge of mobile wallet and payment platform architecture, including transaction processing, payment gateways, clearing, reconciliation, accounting, and suspense accounts. Understanding of top-ups, purchases, refunds, withdrawals, reconciliation, and settlement processes. Proficiency in Linux log analysis, troubleshooting, and SQL checks using Oracle or MySQL. Knowledge of payment channels, API callbacks, idempotency, anti-replay controls, transaction compensation, and fund discrepancy resolution. Familiarity with high availability, disaster recovery, active/standby systems, change management, and incident resolution. Ability to follow strict security, auditability, rollback, and traceability requirements. Payment-related project experience is preferred.
