Position Title: Internal communications manager

Job Purpose:
The internal communications manager is responsible to make sure our employees remain informed, engaged and inspired. The role is responsible to develop an internal communications strategy to ensure aligned communication and messaging in the cascading of overall company strategy and ways of working. The role is responsible to enhance employee engagement and sense of belongingness in the work environment.
About You
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
Develop engaging and informative content for various internal channels, including newsletters, intranet, announcements, and town hall meetings.
Design, plan, and implement engaging and interactive quarterly and annual events for employees that elevate the experience and drive the engagement and connection of employees, diverse teams.
Development of quarterly Roadshow decks and content, as well as other internal presentations for the Management Team.
Manage the delivery of face-to-face, virtual and hybrid events, including event logistics and production
Channel Management
Oversee and optimize internal communication channels to ensure effective dissemination of information across all levels of the organization.
Responsible for the adoption and drive workplace engagement and usage.
Manage and continuously improve overall communication channel infrastructure (website, LinkedIn…). Own channel management decisions, including evolution of Heineken Ethiopia channel management strategy.
Employee Engagement
Collaborate with all functions to create initiatives that promote employee engagement, feedback, and recognition.
Change Management
Support change initiatives by providing clear, consistent communication that helps employees understand changes and their impacts.
Measurement & Analysis
Track and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication efforts, using feedback and metrics to continuously improve strategies.
Regularly audit communication channels, produce monthly internal communications reports and utilize insight from evaluation to ensure effective targeting of messages.
Job Requirements
Experience and Skills
A minimum work experience of 3-5 years.
Education
BA in relevant fields including, communications, marketing, political Science.
