Job Title         :           Store Controller Reports to      :           Store head Department    :          Local procurement and Property Administration     BASIC FUNCTIONS:   Under the   supervision of the store head plans, directs coordinates and controls store operation activities; assumes custodial responsibility and accountability; prepares periodic reports on stores operation.     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   Directs and controls activities of store operation to ensure safe, efficient and effective custody of property and materials purchased for production and other operations of the Company. Initiates and verifies requisitions to replenish stock by ensuring that the company maintains the optimum level of stock that enables the continuous operations while minimizing the working capital tied-up in stock. Plans, inspects and supervises the proper and systematic arrangement, shelving and location of parts materials and supplies inside the store, ensures economic and safe use of storage space, takes appropriate safety and sanitary measures to protect products and properties stored in the company’s warehouses. Ensures that the company’s store activities are undertaken as per approved policies, procedures, plans and programs. Reviews requisitions, receiving reports, issue tickets and their timely and proposer recording. Supervise and directs the activities of workers in the warehouse; requests the employment of labourers when the need arises; processes payments of labour cost. Supervises the conduct of physical inventory in accordance with established schedules, reports irregularities with recommendations for corrective actions. Prepares periodic inventory movement and performance reports and submits to supervisor Prepares annual work plan and budget, periodic performance reports and submits to supervisor; evaluates the performance of his/her subordinates periodically. Ensures that all problems related to food safety management system is reported to immediate supervisor and Quality personnel. Ensure compliance with the relevant requirements of local, national and international laws related to environmental standards (ISO 14001:2015) and end client’s environmental requirements. Use the 3R + 1R rule (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rethink) to avoid or minimize discharges to water, emissions to air and disposal to land. Retain a list of chemicals used and control them as per their material safety data sheet, legal and client requirements. Also properly handle and manage hazardous materials and wastes Performs related duties as required.     About You Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement management, Supply chain management or related field   At least 5 years of related work experience.
