Role Description The Delivery Driver role is a full-time, on-site position based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In this role, the driver is responsible for safely transporting products and materials between company locations, partners, and customers, following assigned routes and schedules. Daily tasks include loading and unloading items, verifying delivery documents, maintaining accurate logs, and ensuring timely and reliable deliveries. The Delivery Driver also helps keep the vehicle clean and in good working order by performing basic inspections and reporting maintenance needs. This role interacts regularly with customers and internal teams, providing courteous service and supporting smooth operations. Qualifications Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with customers and colleagues. Experience in Forklift Operation or safe handling of goods and materials is an advantage. Background in Training or mentoring team members is beneficial for supporting operational improvements. Exposure to Sales or Food & Beverage environments is helpful for understanding customer needs and handling products efficiently. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, with knowledge of local routes in Addis Ababa. Ability to lift and move packages safely, and to follow safety and traffic regulations at all times. Good time management, reliability, and attention to detail in documentation and route planning. Basic communication skills in relevant local languages and English; previous experience in delivery or logistics is a plus.
