To support high-priority mining operations in the Benishangul-Gumuz region, Mota-Engil is sourcing technical engineering talent to support the management, maintenance, and optimization of a diverse fleet ranging from light vehicles to heavy-duty mining machinery.

Experience Required:
0 to 2 years of professional experience (Recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
Industry Context:
Engineering support within mining, construction, or heavy workshop environments.
Primary Function:
Assist in planning preventative maintenance schedules, tracking fleet reliability metrics, and organizing workshop repair schedules.
Key Competencies
Understand basic mechanical systems, pumps, combustion engine, gear box, hydraulics and pneumatics…
Basic understanding of machine elements (shafts, bearings, belts, seals, power transmission systems…) and their failure modes.
Capable of interpreting mechanical drawings.
Basic understanding of maintenance strategies, planning and scheduling processes.
Familiar with computer-aided design (CAD) software and maintenance management systems.
Familiar with Microsoft office tools
Mandatory Eligibility Criteria
All candidates must fulfill the following organizational and statutory requirements:
Must be a current resident of Ethiopia. Willingness to work on-site in the Benishangul-Gumuz region.
Full bilingual proficiency in Amharic and English.
Strong commitment to a safety-conscious culture. Proven teamwork skills and a hardworking professional ethos.
