Position Description
As a Creative Strategist at our agency, you will play a vital role in developing and executing impactful strategies that drive client success. You will collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Account Executives, and Media teams to translate client briefs into clear, actionable, and measurable strategies that align with business objectives. From conducting research to formulating comprehensive plans, you will ensure that every campaign delivers value and achieves its intended goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a Strategist, you will manage multiple projects for a variety of clients simultaneously. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Client Brief Analysis:
Interpret client briefs to understand business objectives, goals, and desired outcomes. Provide a clear breakdown of insights to guide strategic development.
Market Research:
Conduct primary and secondary market research to gather insights into consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
Data Analysis:
Analyze product sales data and brand equity metrics to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for growth. Use data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Strategic Planning:
Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual brand plans that outline key activities, campaigns, and performance benchmarks.
SWOT Analysis:
Conduct thorough SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analyses to provide a strategic foundation for brand growth and positioning.
Brand Strategy Development:
Formulate clear, holistic branding strategies that can be effectively implemented across various campaigns and channels.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Provide strategic input and consultation to media, creative, and pitch teams to ensure deliverables align with the overarching strategy.
Project Management:
Plan, implement, and oversee proposed strategic recommendations and projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality execution.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor the progress of ongoing campaigns and projects, providing regular updates, performance metrics, and actionable feedback to stakeholders.
Comprehensive Communications Strategy:
Develop integrated communications strategies that align messaging, media, and creative efforts to meet client objectives.
Reporting and Evaluation:
Prepare detailed project completion reports, analyzing results and outcomes to ensure the strategic framework aligns with the initial project goals.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Sociology, Business, or a related field.
2-3 years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Market Research, or Brand Management.
Prior experience working in an advertising agency is highly preferred.
Proven ability to interpret client briefs, conduct research, and analyze market data.
Strong market research and data analysis capabilities.
Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to develop actionable, insights-driven plans.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting ideas and collaborating with teams.
Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong project management abilities.
