Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate accounting records using Peachtree (Sage 50). Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations. Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets. Ensure accurate inventory and cost accounting. Prepare and submit VAT, Withholding Tax, Payroll Tax, Pension, and other statutory returns through the ERCA/eTax system. Ensure full compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and accounting standards. Support budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
