Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain enterprise IT systems, including servers, storage systems, and hardware. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot Operating Systems, hardware, software, and network issues. Implement and enforce security policies and access controls. Oversee data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. Support system upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal downtime. Manage user access, permissions, and authentication systems (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.). Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure smooth operations. Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations. Required Qualifications First Degree/2nd degree (Bsc) in Computer Science, software engineering, Computer Engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, or related fields with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Type: Full-Time / Permanent Location: Addis Ababa/Head Office Expectations: High operational accuracy and strict adherence to NBE standards. Required Skills And Competencies Experience in virtualization technologies (Oracle LDOM, Nutanix, VMware). Strong knowledge of Linux and Unix based (Oracle Solaris, Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) systems administration is mandatory. Strong knowledge of networking. Experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration. Strong knowledge and experience in Storage Area Network (SAN) and Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI). Experience with automation tools is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Any certifications related to the above experiences and knowledge are desirable.
