AndyTec is looking for a dynamic and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automation and control systems at client sites. As a key member of our service team, you will provide excellent customer support, ensuring systems operate efficiently and reliably.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or a related field.
Experience:
2+ years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, with hands-on experience in automation, control systems, and electrical systems.
Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, HMI software, sensors, and industrial control systems.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and automation equipment in the field.
Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of electrical circuits, PLC programming, and industrial automation systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to clients.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with a focus on customer service and client satisfaction.
Proficient with computer systems and service management software.
Ability to travel frequently and work in various environments (factory, production, field).

Responsibilities
System Installation & Setup:
Install, configure, and commission automation and control systems at customer sites.
Ensure that systems are installed in compliance with customer specifications, safety standards, and best practices.
Provide on-site training for client personnel on system operation and maintenance procedures.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform routine maintenance and inspection of equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure system longevity.
Troubleshoot and repair control systems, PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and other automation components.
Respond quickly to emergency service calls, diagnose technical issues, and implement solutions to minimize system downtime.
Customer Support & Communication:
Provide ongoing technical support to clients, ensuring their systems remain operational and meet their performance expectations.
Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions.
Maintain professional relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed service reports, including troubleshooting logs, service requests, and follow-up actions.
Document any issues, repairs, and replacements made to ensure complete service history for each client.
Submit reports to the service manager for review and follow-up.
System Upgrades & Optimizations:
Conduct system upgrades, including the installation of software updates, hardware replacements, and component upgrades.
Provide recommendations for system improvements to clients, enhancing performance, efficiency, and reliability.
Travel & Logistics:
Travel regularly to client sites for installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting (domestic and international as required).
Coordinate logistics for on-site visits, ensuring tools, parts, and equipment are available before deployment.
Qualifications & Skills:
