The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Accountant
to join our finance team and take ownership of managing global financial operations. This is a pivotal role requiring deep expertise in international accounting practices, intercompany operations, and financial reporting across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end finance operations across multiple global entities.
Oversee the preparation and consolidation of local and international financial statements in compliance with international accounting standards (e.g. IFRS).
Manage multi-currency accounting, including foreign exchange translation and revaluation.
Drive the month-end and year-end close processes across entities.
Oversee intercompany transactions and ensure timely reconciliation.
Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and transparency.
Continuously improve and standardize financial processes and controls across all geographies.
Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team.
Requirements
10+ years
of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or managerial capacity.
Proven track record managing the
full suite of finance team capabilities
– including AP/AR, general ledger, reporting, tax, and audit functions.
Hands-on experience with
global financial operations
and
intercompany accounting
.
Strong understanding of
multi-currency accounting
and consolidation.
Experience working in a
complex multinational environment
.
Proficient with modern ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
Accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and leadership skills.
