Job Description

Position Title: Driver Location: Harar Application Closing Date: July 07, 2026 Job Purpose To provide safe, reliable, confidential and professional transportation service to the Brewery Manager, authorized guests and family members when assigned, while ensuring excellent driving discipline, punctuality, vehicle readiness and respectful conduct that reflects HEINEKEN’s standards. Key Responsibilities Safe executive transport: Provide safe, smooth and defensive driving service in line with traffic laws, company standards and road safety requirements. Punctual service delivery: Ensure timely transportation to offices, meetings, events, airports, residences and other approved destinations through proper route and time planning. Confidentiality and discretion: Protect all information related to Brewery Manager movements, conversations, schedules, documents, visitors and family matters. Professional passenger care: Treat Management Team members, guests, family members, employees and external contacts with respect, courtesy, patience and neutrality. Conduct inside the vehicle: Maintain a calm and service-oriented attitude; avoid loud music, unnecessary phone use, smoking, gossip, arguments or any behaviour that may affect passenger comfort or confidence. Conduct outside the vehicle: Represent the company positively through proper grooming, respectful communication, orderly parking and professional interaction with security, traffic officers, hotel staff, airport staff and other stakeholders. Route and risk awareness: Plan routes considering traffic, weather, road conditions, parking, security updates and guidance from the Security team. Vehicle readiness and cleanliness: Conduct daily checks on tyres, brakes, lights, fuel, oil, water, tools and general roadworthiness; keep the vehicle clean, organised and presentable at all times. Maintenance and CILT: Perform CILT activities, report defects immediately and follow up scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs with the General Services team. Emergency response: Respond calmly and appropriately to accidents, breakdowns, medical situations or security incidents, and immediately inform the relevant contacts. Coordination and communication: Communicate professionally with the line supervisor, Management Team, General Services, Security and other relevant stakeholders on schedules, route risks and vehicle condition. Additional support: Perform other transport, administrative and support tasks assigned by the line supervisor, provided they are aligned with company policies and safety requirements.
