About The Role
On behalf of our client, a well-established company operating in the
automotive industry
, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven
Brand Manager
to lead and strengthen the performance of one of the company's key automotive brands in the Ethiopian market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving brand growth, sales performance, market positioning, customer satisfaction, and operational alignment with international manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
Business Planning & Commercial Performance
Develop and implement annual brand business plans, sales targets, growth initiatives, and budgets.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Support product and vehicle model planning based on Ethiopian market requirements.
Monitor and drive achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
Support pricing strategies based on market conditions, competition, and commercial objectives.
Brand & Marketing Management
Coordinate the execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities to strengthen brand awareness and market presence.
Ensure consistent implementation of international brand and Corporate Identity (CI) standards across customer touchpoints.
Support new vehicle launches, promotional events, and brand activation initiatives.
Monitor brand perception and recommend initiatives to strengthen customer confidence and market positioning.
Manufacturer & Stakeholder Management
Serve as a key liaison between the local business and international manufacturer representatives.
Prepare and submit regular sales, inventory, and performance reports.
Coordinate manufacturer directives, technical updates, training programs, and knowledge-transfer initiatives.
Participate in relevant manufacturer meetings, workshops, and training programs.
Sales & Dealership Support
Support and guide sales teams with product knowledge, vehicle features, and brand requirements.
Monitor dealership and sub-dealer compliance with brand standards and operational policies.
Coordinate with relevant teams on demand planning, shipment requirements, and inventory management.
Monitor vehicle inventory and support initiatives to minimize slow-moving and aging stock.
Customer Experience & After-Sales Coordination
Work closely with after-sales and spare parts teams to support service quality and customer satisfaction.
Monitor customer feedback and complaints and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
Review relevant warranty and maintenance reports to ensure alignment with manufacturer requirements.
Support initiatives aimed at strengthening customer loyalty and protecting the brand's reputation.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in the automotive industry, automotive sales, dealership operations, brand management, or commercial management is highly desirable.
Experience working with international automotive manufacturers or dealership networks is an advantage.
Strong understanding of sales performance, market analysis, customer management, and commercial operations.
