About The Role
Are you organised, customer-focused, and able to analyse complex information? Gloucestershire County Council is looking for a Parking Technician (Complaints & Appeals) to support the delivery of Civil Parking Enforcement across the county.
An opportunity has arisen within Parking Services for a Parking Technician (Complaints & Appeals), helping to administer parking enforcement processes, manage appeals and complaints, maintain parking databases, and ensure Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Process and manage parking-related complaints and appeals.
Support the administration of Civil Parking Enforcement (Regulation 9 and Regulation 10 Penalty Charge Notices)
Maintain parking databases, spreadsheets, and records.
Process PCN payments and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
Prepare cases for the Traffic Penalty Tribunal.
Debt recovery reconciliation
Provide professional responses to customer enquiries.
About You
Strong IT and data handling skills
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Organised with the ability to meet deadlines
Effective communication skills
Experience within Parking or a similar service area is desirable
