NTU International A/S
is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called:
Higher Education System Strengthening Project II – Somalia
and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
The
overall objective
of this assignment is to strengthen the capacity of the higher education system for enhanced coordination, regulation and sustainability of interventions in Somalia.
Location
: Mogadishu, Somalia.
Duration
: The intended start date is
1st October 2026
and the period of implementation of the contract will be
36 months
from this date.
Non-Key Expert: Quality Assurance & Accreditation Specialist (senior)
☝️ Minimum Qualifications and skills:
Master’s degree (or higher) in education, quality assurance, institutional management or a related field.
Formal training in quality‑assurance frameworks and accreditation standards.
Fluency in English; Somali language skills are a strong asset.
☝️Specific professional experience:
At least 10 years’ experience in higher‑education quality assurance and accreditation, including development and roll‑out of natl. QA frameworks.
Direct experience designing or conducting institutional audits, self‑assessments and external evaluations.
Track record of training QA officers and establishing QA units within universities.
Familiarity with international and African QA standards and accreditation bodies.
