Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Product Owner at our office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Product Owner will lead product development by defining and prioritizing product requirements, managing the product backlog, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, gathering business requirements, prioritizing features, and ensuring smooth communication between stakeholders and the development team to deliver impactful solutions. The Product Owner will play a key role in ensuring the success of projects from concept to launch.
Qualifications
Proven skills in Product Management and Business Analysis to successfully define, plan, and prioritize product requirements.
Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate market trends, identify user needs, and translate them into actionable insights.
Effective Communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and to clearly convey product goals and progress.
Familiarity with Software Development processes to coordinate with technical teams and ensure feasibility of product features.
Experience in Agile methodologies is a plus for working in fast-paced, iterative development environments.
Ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities, while meeting deadlines and managing deliverables.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
