Control Room CCTV Operator
Objective
Ensure the smooth and effective day-to-day running of the control room by monitoring surveillance systems, reporting incidents, and maintaining agreed service levels under the supervision of the Corporate Security Manager.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor CCTV systems, including cameras, recording, and storage of footage.
Maintain control room equipment (monitors, radios, telephones, and computers).
Conduct continuous surveillance and ensure proper cataloging and retrieval of footage.
Monitor alarm systems and ensure timely response to all alerts.
Detect and report suspicious activities in line with standard operating procedures.
Ensure security systems integrity and support prevention of unauthorized access/egress.
Prepare daily system status and incident reports for management.
Maintain proper incident logs and escalate issues promptly.
Support security team response during incidents and emergencies.
Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
Liaise with law enforcement when required for CCTV evidence.
Perform other duties assigned by the Security Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements
Formal education in any discipline
Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Knowledge of surveillance and incident management systems
