Company Description HAWASSA AGRI MANUFACTURING PLC is a potato chips manufacturing company operating on a 69,000 square meter site, with an 8,400 square meter factory building and modern infrastructure. The factory was officially inaugurated and began production on August 14, 2014 E.C., with a capacity of producing 300 kg of potato chips per hour. Using modern technology and trained personnel, the company produces a variety of flavored potato chips that meet quality standards while preserving natural content and ensuring health-friendly production conditions. HAWASSA AGRI MANUFACTURING PLC focuses on offering high-quality products at affordable prices to its customers. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Door to Door Sales Person role based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Door to Door Sales Person will visit residential and commercial areas to promote and sell the company’s potato chip products directly to customers. Responsibilities include presenting product features and benefits, answering customer questions, handling objections, and closing sales. The role involves identifying new customers, maintaining regular contact with existing customers, collecting feedback, and reporting daily sales activities to the supervisor. The Door to Door Sales Person will also help with basic merchandising, such as arranging products and ensuring proper product display, and will follow company guidelines on pricing, customer service, and ethical sales practices. Qualifications Proven ability in face-to-face or door-to-door sales, with strong skills in persuasion, negotiation, and closing. Customer service mindset, including active listening, clear communication, and a friendly, respectful approach to all community members. Good physical stamina and willingness to walk for extended periods and work outdoors in different weather conditions. Basic numeracy skills for handling cash, tracking quantities, and completing simple sales reports. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet daily or weekly sales targets. Familiarity with Addis Ababa neighborhoods and local markets is an advantage. Previous experience in FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) or food product sales is a plus. B A in Sales and marketing and related fields ; additional training in sales or marketing is an advantage. Professional behavior, reliability, and a commitment to representing the company positively at all times.
