Location: Holota, Ethiopia Work Setting: Office-based Employment Type: Full-time Career Level: Senior Required Experience: 5–8 years Number of Positions: 1 Application Deadline: September 11, 2026 Job Purpose The IT Administrator will help maintain reliable and secure ICT infrastructure by administering computer networks and associated computing environments, including hardware, systems, and web-related resources. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular data backup activities and support disaster recovery operations. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related problems, including replacing faulty components when required. Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications and virus protection software. Monitor computer systems and network performance through relevant management and monitoring consoles and coordinate network access and usage. Assess network performance and identify areas where adjustments or future improvements may be required. Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to safeguard organizational data, software, and hardware. Review equipment performance information to determine whether repair or replacement is necessary. Work with network users to identify solutions to existing system-related problems. Recommend improvements to system and network configurations and identify related hardware and software requirements. Education and Work Experience Educational Qualification Applicants should have one of the following qualifications or an equivalent: TVET III/IV in a relevant field BSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field MSc in a relevant field Related Work Experience The vacancy announcement states the following experience requirements: 8/6/4/2 years of relevant work experience for non-engineering positions, or 6/4/2/0 years for Engineering positions, respectively.
