As an Fire Safety Officer , you’re not just ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Responsibilities Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Support hotel safety compliance: Assist the Security Manager in overseeing Fire safety, and security protocols across designated areas of hotel Implement risk management practices: Enforce company safety policies and support efforts to reduce guest complaints and civil claims related to safety. Conduct audits and investigations: Perform regular audits, accident investigations, and Fire safety checks to identify risks, document findings, and ensure corrective actions are taken Deliver safety training: Provide training on fire safety, and other compliance topics to managers and team members; maintain accurate training records Monitor fire safety systems: Collaborate with Facilities to test fire detection and sprinkler systems, conduct daily fire tours, and report deficiencies as needed Support contractor compliance: Assist Facilities in monitoring contractor activity to ensure adherence to Fire safety standards Qualifications What It Takes to Make the Stay Besides The Relevant Academic Background & Directly Related Work Experience, At Hilton, Our Core Values Define What It Takes To Succeed Here And Guide The Qualities We Look For In Every Team Member A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality .
