Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome customers and provide excellent customer service.Assist customers in selecting products based on their needs.Promote products and achieve daily and monthly sales targets.Maintain thorough knowledge of products, prices, and promotions.Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.Ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and properly labeled.Monitor stock availability and report low-stock items.Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized sales area.Participate in stock counting and inventory control activities.Build and maintain positive customer relationships.Collaborate with team members to improve sales performance.Follow company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.Prepare daily sales reports as required.Job RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Management, or a related field.Minimum 1–2 years of sales experience (retail or supermarket experience is an advantage).Strong customer service orientation.Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.Strong organizational and time management skills.Honest, reliable, and professional in appearance and conduct.Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.Required SkillsSales and customer service.Product knowledge and merchandising.Persuasion and negotiation skills.Excellent verbal communication.Relationship building and customer engagement.Cash handling and POS system operation.Problem-solving and conflict resolution.Upselling and cross-selling techniques.Time management and multitasking.Teamwork and collaboration.Attention to detail and accuracy.Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and POS systems).Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.Professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.Goal-oriented with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
