About The Role
On behalf of our client, a
well-established Ethiopian corporate company
, we are seeking an experienced and highly organized
Deputy General Manager for Services
to support the effective management of key corporate service functions, with a particular focus on
Finance, Human Resources, and Administration
.
The role will work closely with senior management to ensure efficient service delivery, strengthen internal systems and controls, and support the organization's financial, people, and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Financial Operations
Support the effective management of financial operations and reporting.
Assist with annual budgeting, financial planning, and budget monitoring.
Monitor financial performance and budget utilization.
Ensure financial reporting and practices are aligned with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements.
Support the implementation and effective use of ERP and financial management systems.
Strengthen financial controls, compliance, and accountability.
Support management in financial analysis and decision-making.
Human Resources
Support key HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development.
Coordinate workforce-related activities and support effective people management.
Assist in strengthening HR policies, processes, and systems.
Support employee engagement and performance management initiatives.
Work closely with management to address workforce requirements.
Administration & Asset Management
Oversee and coordinate administrative and corporate support services.
Ensure effective property and asset management.
Maintain proper systems for asset utilization, tracking, maintenance, and accountability.
Support the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures.
Ensure efficient management of facilities, resources, and administrative services.
Service Operations & Coordination
Coordinate service delivery across Finance, HR, and Administration.
Identify operational gaps and recommend practical improvements.
Monitor service performance and ensure timely delivery of internal support services.
Prepare operational and management reports as required.
Promote efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement across service functions.
Support senior management in implementing organizational initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a manufacturing, PLC, or large corporate environment.
Strong experience in Finance, HR, Administration, or corporate/service operations, with broad exposure across the other functions.
Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and IFRS reporting.
Proven experience working with ERP systems and financial management platforms.
Practical experience in recruitment, training, employee development, and HR operations.
Experience in property, facilities, and asset management.
Experience managing or supporting large-scale organizational budgets is highly desirable.
