Role Description
The epoxy role at Annoushka Jewellery is a full-time, on-site position based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This role involves preparing and mixing epoxy resins according to specific formulas and quality standards, and applying epoxy to jewelry components to ensure a durable, polished finish. Day-to-day tasks include measuring materials accurately, monitoring curing times, checking for defects or imperfections, and making necessary adjustments to maintain consistency and quality. The role also includes cleaning and maintaining workstations and tools, following safety procedures, and collaborating with designers and production staff to meet order deadlines. The person in this role will be expected to follow detailed instructions, maintain high attention to detail, and support continuous improvements in the finishing process.
Qualifications
Ability to work with epoxy and similar materials, including accurate measuring, mixing, and application for small, detailed items.
Strong attention to detail and quality control, with the ability to identify imperfections and ensure a consistent, high-quality finish.
Basic understanding of safe handling of chemicals and adherence to workplace health and safety guidelines.
Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity for fine, detailed work in jewelry production.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production and design teams.
Reliability and time management skills to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Prior experience in jewelry making, resin art, crafts, or similar precision manufacturing is an advantage.
Willingness to learn specialized techniques and follow structured processes and quality standards.
