To support mining operations in the Benishangul-Gumuz region, Mota-Engil is sourcing analytical and detail-oriented talent to monitor real-time operational data, optimize production workflows, and ensure seamless communication across site teams.
Educational Background: University Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, or a highly analytical/relevant field.
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in control room operations, data analytics, or production tracking (experience in mining, construction, or heavy industry is highly valued).
Primary Function: Monitor real-time site operations, track fleet and production metrics, and transform raw operational data into actionable dashboards and management reports.
Key Competencies
Excellent command of Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis, macro automation, and operational modeling.
Proficiency in Power BI to design, build, and maintain interactive performance dashboards and KPIs.
Capable of tracking multiple live operational streams simultaneously with high attention to detail.
Quick communication skills to relay critical alerts or dispatch updates to site supervisors and managers.
Mandatory Eligibility Criteria
All candidates must fulfill the following organizational and statutory requirements:
Must be a current resident of Ethiopia. Willingness to work on-site in the Benishangul-Gumuz region.
Full bilingual proficiency in Amharic and English.
Proven teamwork skills, high pressure tolerance, and a hardworking professional ethos.
