Junior Accountant – Fresh Graduates

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Ethio Impact Consulting is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to support accounting operations and financial record management. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Educational Qualifications BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. Work Experience No previous work experience is required. Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Relevant university internships or practical accounting experience are an advantage. Required Skills Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial transactions. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to learn and develop professional accounting skills. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries. Support petty cash management and employee expense reconciliation. Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations under supervision. Support the preparation of financial reports, trial balances, and supporting schedules. Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities. Support the preparation of VAT, withholding tax, pension, and payroll declarations. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.
