Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an English News Presenter/Anchor for international news at our office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The News Presenter/Anchor will be responsible for presenting news stories accurately and engagingly, reporting on key events, and ensuring high standards of journalism on-air. This role also involves collaborating with the editorial and production teams to deliver timely and dynamic Stories to global audiences for online consumption. Qualifications Proven experience in Reporting and Broadcast Journalism present news stories in English with clarity and confidence Experience as a Presenter or Anchor in a news broadcasting environment Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills Exceptional verbal communication skills with an engaging on-air presence Ability to research and fact-check information effectively Familiarity with current international affairs and global news landscape (we don't report on local stories) Proficient in using social media for news dissemination and audience engagement Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines A bachelor’s degree in journalism, Mass Communication, English Language or a related field Knowledge of global news trends and current events Proficiency in English is a must have Location Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
