AndyTec is looking for a skilled and results-driven Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and production teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in process optimization, manufacturing, or production engineering.
Hands-on experience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement methodologies.
Strong background in data analysis, process mapping, and workflow optimization.
Skills:
Proficient in process optimization tools and techniques (e.g., value stream mapping, process flow analysis, root cause analysis).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make actionable recommendations.
Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab) and process control software (e.g., SCADA, PLCs).
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and teams.
Project management experience with a focus on delivering results within time and budget constraints.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
Process Analysis & Mapping:
Analyze existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Map current processes and design optimized solutions that enhance throughput, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Utilize process optimization techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to drive continuous improvement.
Process Design & Improvement:
Develop and implement new processes, procedures, and systems that improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to redesign workflows, optimize equipment usage, and streamline production schedules.
Conduct process simulations and modeling to evaluate proposed process changes before implementation.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Collect and analyze data from production and operational systems to identify performance trends and root causes of inefficiencies.
Use statistical analysis and process metrics to guide decision-making and improve process performance.
Prepare and present reports on process performance, highlighting areas of success and areas for further improvement.
Collaboration with Teams:
Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to identify and implement optimization strategies.
Facilitate process optimization workshops and training sessions for employees to promote lean practices and continuous improvement.
Ensure that process changes align with customer needs and business objectives, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.
Cost Reduction & Quality Improvement:
Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements, including reduced material usage, energy consumption, and labor costs.
Implement strategies to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve consistency.
Continuously monitor performance post-implementation to ensure sustained improvements and cost savings.
Project Management:
Lead process optimization projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired outcomes.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of optimization initiatives.
Report on project status, deliverables, and outcomes to management and stakeholders.
