Finance Manager

Vital Global Trading PLC is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead company-wide financial management, reporting, planning, and control across its business operations. The position requires strong experience in both service-sector financial management and import/export finance, including letters of credit, foreign-currency transactions, customs and duty costing, guarantees, cash-flow management, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities • Lead company-wide financial reporting, budgeting, and cash-flow forecasting. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. • Manage bid bonds, performance guarantees, and LC-backed transactions. • Oversee LC processing, FX requirements, customs/duty costing, and supplier payments. • Manage receivables, payment milestones, and outstanding invoices. • Oversee payroll funding and cost allocation. • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax requirements, NBE regulations, and IFRS. • Manage banking relationships and working-capital facilities. • Establish strong internal financial controls and approval processes. • Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and internal management. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Professional accounting qualification preferred. • Strong working knowledge of IFRS/IFRS for SMEs. • 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or finance leadership position. • Demonstrated service-sector financial management experience. • Hands-on import/export finance experience, including LC processing, FX management, customs/duty costing, and supplier payment terms. • Advanced Excel and financial-modelling skills. • Strong knowledge of bid bonds, performance guarantees, and banking facilities. • Excellent leadership, stakeholder-management, and cash-flow-management skills. • High level of integrity and discretion.
