Bitdeer also offers advanced cloud capabilities to customers with a high demand for artificial intelligence.Headquartered in Singapore, Bitdeer operates globally with a diversified 3 GW energy portfolio, and deploys Bitcoin mining and HPC datacenters in the United States, Bhutan, Norway, Canada, Malaysia, and Ethiopia.Job DescriptionThe Admin Assistant is responsible for supporting effective communication and coordination between the data center, local government, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless site operations. This role involves collaborating with technical teams on power supply and network services, managing procurement and administrative functions, and maintaining accurate data and reports.What You Will Be Responsible ForSupport communication & translation between data center and local government/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth operation of the data center site in all aspects;Collaborate with the substation manager to coordinate power supply and related operational matters, ensuring compliance with federal policiesLiaise with Ethiopian Telecom and Safaricom for internet and network services. Oversee procurement of food, beverages, and other necessities for expatriate staff.Follow up on progress, negotiation and implementation in accordance with deadlines of the project.;Maintain and update internal data sets; perform daily, weekly, and monthly data analysis and reporting on site operations for ManagersHandle correspondence, emails, and phone inquiries in a professional manner.Support HR functions for the site, including employee records, recruitment, and other HR-related activities – team bonding and integrationAssist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and maintaining calendars with locals.Maintain office supplies inventory and support financial tasks (invoicing, expense tracking, petty cash).Provide temporary driver support as needed, ensuring safe and timely transportation for staff or materials.Perform other administrative duties as assigned.How You Will Stand OutBachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field with at least 3 years of working experience;Strong communication skills to liaise with relevant stakeholders, bilingual in both English and Afaan Oromoo is preferred to communicate with both internal and external parties;Proficient in Microsoft and Google suite (e.g. excel/Google Sheets, word/Google doc);Strong in excel and data analysis, in order to identify business data trends in a timely manner, monitor abnormal data trends, and assist the business in problem analysis and resolution;Good stakeholder management skills - good judgment and ability to assess situation.What You Will Experience Working With UsA culture that values authenticity and diversity of thoughts and backgrounds;An inclusive and respectable environment with open workspaces and exciting start-up spirit;Fast-growing company with the chance to network with industrial pioneers and enthusiasts;Ability to contribute directly and make an impact on the future of the digital asset industry;Involvement in new projects, developing processes/systems;Personal accountability, autonomy, fast growth, and learning opportunities;Attractive welfare benefits and developmental opportunities such as training and mentoring.
