About the jobAbout the RoleChipChip is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage accounting activities, ensure tax compliance, and oversee financial reporting. The role will work closely with finance, warehouse, and operations teams and take ownership of accuracy and deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and review daily accounting transactions and records.Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.Handle bank, receivable, payable, and general ledger reconciliations.Prepare and submit VAT, withholding tax, and payroll taxes.Lead month-end and year-end closing.Oversee payroll processing and statutory payments.Monitor inventory and coordinate with warehouse teams.Support audits and ensure compliance with regulations.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.4–6+ years of accounting experience.Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and accounting standards.Good skills in Excel and accounting software.Key ExpectationsHigh ownership and accountability.Strong attention to detail and deadlines.Ability to work independently.Good coordination with different teams.
