Quality Control Laboratory Technician

About the jobFor our new plant in Debre Berhan we are looking for an experienced Lab Technician.You will be handling sensitive equipment to analyze samples or substances, testing and analyzing samples and conduct tests reporting findings. The ideal candidate will at least have one(1) year experience in working under possibly hazardous conditions (e.g. chemicals). You will be well-trained to maintain safety conditions and will be passionate for doing work that makes things move forward.ResponsibilitiesOrganize and store all chemicals substances and fluids according to safety instructionsRecord all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibilityMaintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory suppliesEnsure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environmentPlanning, setting up and undertaking controlled experiments and trialsDemonstrating proceduresCollecting, preparing and/or testing samplesMaintaining, calibrating, cleaning and testing sterility of the equipmentPresenting results to other staffWriting reports, reviews and summariesQualificationsProven experience as Lab Technician or relevant positionWorking knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systemsAbility to work autonomously and under pressureDegree in biology, chemistry or relevant fieldIndependenceMeticulous attention to detailExcellent written and oral communication skillsGood team working skillsAnalytical skillsTime managementInterested candidates may send their CV and resume to info@nosa-manufacturing.comwith the subject line ‘Quality Control Lab.
