Driven by a vision for sustainable development through education, GlobeDock Academy is committed to shaping Ethiopia’s future by providing world-class learning opportunities.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site role in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for an Ethiopian Sign Language Instructor. The instructor will develop and deliver engaging lessons in Ethiopian Sign Language for students, ensuring their understanding and mastery of the language. Responsibilities include creating structured lesson plans aligned with the academy’s educational goals, evaluating student progress, and employing effective teaching techniques to promote active learning. The instructor will collaborate with the teaching staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.QualificationsProficiency in Ethiopian Sign Language and strong expertise in Language TeachingExperience in Lesson Planning and delivering structured teaching contentStrong foundation in Teaching, Education, and supporting learners' growthKnowledge of Literature or language-related subjects is an assetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to engage and motivate students in a classroom settingPrevious experience in teaching sign language or working with students with hearing disabilities is a plusBachelor’s degree or relevant certification in education, linguistics, or a related field is preferred
