Junior Mechanic

Job SummaryThe Junior Mechanic is responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, and proper functioning of mechanical equipment and machinery used in the paint production process. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring smooth plant operations in compliance with safety and quality standards.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical machinery and equipment used in paint production.Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.Identify mechanical faults and assist in troubleshooting and repairs.Perform routine lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of mechanical parts.Support installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment.Maintain maintenance records and report issues to the supervisor.Follow workplace safety rules, procedures, and company policies at all times.Ensure tools and equipment are properly handled and maintained.Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.Participate in continuous improvement and maintenance activities.Qualifications and ExperienceDiploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Mechanics, or related field.One to two years of relevant work experience; fresh graduates may be considered.Experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is an advantage (paint or chemical industry preferred).Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, mixers, compressors, and production machinery.Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.Basic communication skills in English.Strong willingness to learn, good teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, mixers, compressors.Required No.: 1 CandidateHow to applyCandidates are requested to submit their updated resume and cover letter toopen.vacancy@kadiscopaint.comPlease mention the job title “Junior Mechanic” in the subject line of the email.
