Job Summary Company: Zuri Capital Share Company Position: Research & Data Intern Job Type: Paid Internship Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Duration: 3 Months Target Candidates: Final-year students and recent graduates Application Deadline: November 2, 2026 Position Overview The Research & Data Intern will support the investment advisory team with sector research, data collection, data analysis and interpretation across various industries. The intern will work closely with an Analyst and contribute to research assignments supporting investment decisions and capital market-related activities. Key Responsibilities Collect sector-specific data from primary and secondary sources. Conduct basic data cleaning, categorization and organization. Summarize research findings and prepare data interpretation notes. Assist the Analyst with research briefs, market updates and sector snapshots. Support database updates, document management and research tracking. Participate in internal discussions and provide input on research observations. Ensure data accuracy, completeness and reliability in research activities. Required Qualifications Final-year student or recent graduate in: Economics Accounting and Finance Business Statistics A related field Strong interest in research, data analysis and investment-related work. Basic understanding of market concepts and economic indicators. Good analytical and attention-to-detail skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other basic data tools. Preferred Skills and Competencies Familiarity with research methods and basic data interpretation techniques. Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines. Curiosity and willingness to learn. Openness to feedback. Good communication skills.
