Job Description

 Job Summary:The Consortium Support Specialist will support People in Need (PIN), as the lead agency, in the effective coordination, management, and oversight of the ECHO-funded WASH Top-up consortium implemented with FIDO and CoC across complex and conflict-affected locations in Ethiopia.Key Responsibilities Consortium Coordination and Management SupportSupport the ERRPM in the day-to-day coordination and management of the ECHO WASH Top-up consortium with FIDO and CoCFacilitate regular consortium coordination meetings, including preparation of agendas, documentation of minutes, and follow-up on action pointsServe as a key liaison between PIN and consortium partners to ensure smooth communication and timely information flowEnsure alignment of consortium implementation with the approved ECHO proposal, log frame, and operational plansSupport coordination between the WASH Top-up consortium and the RISE consortium to ensure synergies, coherence, and avoidance of duplication Partner Engagement and Performance MonitoringSupport partner start-up, onboarding, and ongoing engagement in line with PIN consortium management standardsMonitor partner progress against agreed workplans, indicators, and timelines, flagging delays or risks to the ERRPMSupport review of partner reports (narrative and activity progress) for quality, consistency, and compliance before consolidationFacilitate constructive problem-solving with partners in response to operational, access, or implementation challenges Donor Compliance and Reporting Support (ECHO)ExperienceMinimum 4-6 years of experience in humanitarian programming, with demonstrated experience in consortium or partnership managementProven experience working on ECHO-funded projects and familiarity with ECHO rules, reporting, and compliance requirementsExperience supporting multi-partner projects in complex or conflict-affected contexts, preferably in EthiopiaUnderstanding of WASH programming in emergencies is a strong assetBenefitStandard work schedule of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday Per diems for working and Accommodation outside of the duty office depending on the locationTransport Allowance Bank loan facilities20 days of paid annual and after 5 years of work an extra paid day for every yearExtra days of paid leaves for selected holidaysMedical insurance, including spouse and childrenAccident insurance for all injuries during work time based on the lawPension contribution of 11 % from PINPaternity leave of extra 2 paid days above the mandatory 3 days Maternity leave according to the law and extra financial motherhood supportMonthly mobile phone hybrid tariffPIN supports fast career growth and internal mobility International environment with opportunities to learn from other PIN's country programs Extensive Capacity Building program, both internal and external trainings, including the Induction trainingInternal online learning opportunities, such as access to PIN's e-learning platform and webinars Annual staff retreat Friendly and fair work environment with small collective where everyone knows each otherHow To ApplyInterested applicants for the position should send their CV and Cover letter as soon as possible via the application form until January 15/2025Should any information needed please contact using: hr.ethiopia@peopleinneed.cz
