About the jobOur client, a mission-driven Ethiopian non-profit, has spent the last 7+ years equipping young people with employability and leadership skills through training, coaching, mentoring, and community-based programs. They are now looking for a Partnerships & Fundraising Officer to help expand their impact by building a strong funding pipeline and strategic partnerships.Role purposeMobilize resources to expand youth leadership and employability programming; through grants, corporate partnerships, and individual/diaspora giving aligned with the organization’s mission of raising well-rounded young leaders and supporting holistic transformation.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain a 12-month funding pipeline (donors, corporates, foundations, diaspora).Develop a practical resource mobilization plan with monthly targets and activities.Track opportunities, deadlines, submissions, and follow-ups using a simple CRM sheetWrite and submit concept notes, proposals, capability statements, and pitch decks.Coordinate inputs from program/finance teams for budgets, workplans, and required documents.Maintain a library of standard attachments: org profile, registration docs, past results, policiesHelp produce quarterly impact updates, 1–2 pagers, and success stories for donors and partners.Support donor reporting inputs when grants are won (in coordination with program/M&E).Assess and improve basic donor readiness: policies, governance docs, safeguarding, procurement basics.Work with program staff to align proposals with evidence and outcomes.Required qualificationsBachelor’s degree in social sciences, business, development studies, communications, or related.3–6 years in fundraising/proposal writing/partnerships for development programs.Strong English writing and presentation skills.Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and coordinate across teams.Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace; comfortable with spreadsheets and tracking.HOW TO APPLYSubmit your CV to apply@yes.et by December 25th, 2025.
