How You Will Stand OutBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.An MBA or equivalent management background is strongly preferred.At least 8-10 years of management experience in the data center, cloud computing, IT infrastructure, or related industries, with a minimum of 5 years in senior roles (e.g., GM, Operations Director, or Project Director).Extensive knowledge and experience in managing the full lifecycle of data center projects, from planning to operations, as well as familiarity with industrial standards (e.g., Uptime Tier Standards, ISO 27001, PUE optimization).Experience in emerging markets (especially in Africa) is a significant plus.Deep understanding of the data center industry and its trends, including key technologies (e.g., power supply systems, cooling solutions, network architecture) and evolving customer demands.Familiarity with cloud computing, hybrid IT solutions, storage, and edge computing technologies as they apply to data center operations.Proven ability to manage capital-intensive projects while ensuring a strong Return on Investment (ROI).Cryptocurrency industry background or management experience are preferred.Those who have connections with the local government of Ethiopia will be given priority.
