About the jobJob Summary The Account Development Representative (ADR) is responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers through proactive outreach and structured lead assessment. This role focuses on generating high-quality prospects, understanding their needs, and ensuring they meet target criteria for the sales pipeline. The ADR supports the sales team by creating consistent opportunities, documenting accurate information in the CRM, and contributing to the growth of long-term, profitable relationships.Responsibilities Conduct high volume outbound calls to potential customers.Present the company’s value proposition, including cost savings, faster delivery, and improved efficiency.Build rapport with purchasing managers, engineers, and operations teams to understand their procurement processes.Assess each account based on product needs, location, purchase frequency, order volume, and average order value.Schedule follow-up meetings for Account Executives or Sales Managers.Log all calls, responses, and notes accurately in the CRM/ATS system.Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine lead lists and outreach campaigns.Share insights on prospect objections, market trends, and competitor activity.Maintain consistent call activity and conversion metrics. Requirements 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, SDR, telemarketing, or account development.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to engage confidently with technical and executive audiences.Comfortable making many calls and handling rejection professionally.Highly organized with CRM proficiency for managing outreach and pipeline tracking.Persistent, curious, and able to quickly learn complex products.Familiarity with electronic components distribution, OEMs, or contract manufacturing is a plus.Experience supporting B2B sales teams.Knowledge of ERP or supply chain processes in manufacturing environments is a bonus.
