About the jobJob Title:Service Engineer – Concrete Product LineJob Purpose:To provide technical support, installation, maintenance, and repair services for the company’s concrete machinery and equipment. The Service Engineer ensures optimal equipment performance, customer satisfaction, and contributes to the overall efficiency of the concrete product line.Key Responsibilities:Technical Support & MaintenanceInstall, commission, and test concrete equipment such as batching plants, mixers, and pumps.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.Ensure equipment performance meets manufacturer standards and client expectations.Customer Service & SupportProvide on-site technical support and training to clients’ operators and maintenance teams.Respond promptly to service calls and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently.Maintain strong professional relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.Document and report customer issues, feedback, and resolutions.Reporting & DocumentationPrepare detailed service reports after every visit, including parts used, issues resolved, and recommendations.Maintain accurate records of equipment service histories.Report recurring technical issues to the Product Line or Technical Manager for escalation.Spare Parts & Inventory ManagementIdentify and request required spare parts in a timely manner.Support the inventory team in managing service tools and parts stock levels.Continuous ImprovementSupport product testing, trials, and upgrades in coordination with the Product Line Manager.Keep up to date with new models, technologies, and service procedures.Suggest improvements to enhance equipment reliability and service efficiency.Qualifications & Experience:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.2–5 years of experience in maintenance or service of concrete machinery (e.g., batching plants, mixers, pumps).Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Key Skills & Competencies:Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and customer-handling abilities.Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.High attention to detail and safety awareness.Willingness to travel extensively and work at remote sites.Work Conditions:Field-based role with frequent travel to client sites.May require working extended hours or weekends to meet client needs.
