We Are Hospitality. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Addis Ababa for a Duty Engineer. The Duty Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation of the engineering department. Day-to-day tasks include conducting regular maintenance activities, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Additionally, the Duty Engineer must respond promptly to guest requests and emergencies, maintain accurate logs, and work closely with other departments to facilitate seamless hotel operations. Qualifications Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) skillsExperience in regular maintenance and troubleshootingKnowledge of safety standards and complianceExcellent problem-solving and diagnostic skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to work independently and handle emergency situationsBachelor’s degree or certification in engineering or a related field is a plusPrevious experience in the hospitality industry is beneficial
