As the motto succinctly describes it, “Truth is the winner!”Key Responsibilities · Responsible for developing and creating content that can be used across a variety of media including digital, social media, broadcast or in print.· Fact-check information and ensure proper sourcing.· Conduct in-depth research using interviews, documents, and data sources.· Attend press conferences, events, and briefings.· Build and maintain a network of reliable contacts and sources.· Stay alert to breaking news and emerging stories.· Maintain high journalistic standards (accuracy, balance, fairness).On interview prepare and conduct interviews with experts, witnesses, and key stakeholders. Ask probing and balanced questions to uncover the full story. Accurately represent quotes and perspectives.· Approve graphics, visuals, and video packages that accompany the story.· Structure newscasts (rundown) to balance hard news, features, weather, and sports.· Assist Producers with the development and maintenance of detailed project plans, schedules, asset management, and workflow for assigned projects.· Working with staff writers, freelancers, and interns, assigning stories for them and self to write or research.· Coordinate with directors, control room staff, and video editors.· Ensure compliance with broadcasting regulations and newsroom policies.· Being organized, self-motivated and resourceful.· Ensure smooth transitions between segments.· Troubleshoot technical problems.· Verify information under pressure.· Coordinate live coverage and field reports.· Leadership, teamwork and negotiation skills.· Having good stamina, resilience and adaptability.· Ability to plan and research.· Creative and innovative thinking.· Good at networking and communicating.Qualities Bachelor's degree in journalism, theatrical art, or a related field.1+ years of experience in program producer.Experience with digital solutions products and services.Experience with YouTube programs.Experience with video and audio editing soft wares. Experience with any social media platforms.Strong understanding of program producer principles and methodologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Fantastic Time Management.Efficiency in communication.Effective Tool use.Growth Mindset.Key Performance Indicator Focus AreasNumber of services completed meeting the deadline and quality.On time design delivery of service.Quality of work.New knowledge, tool, feature, or skill acquired monthly.Efficiency of working with senior producer and operations Manager.
