Project Architect

Job SummaryThe Project Architect will be responsible for supporting both product development and project execution activities. This role involves:Contributing to the design, testing, and improvement of building productsWorking on the planning and coordination of construction projectsCollaborating with internal teams and external partnersProviding technical support on-siteEnsuring design solutions align with project requirements and user needsDuties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop 2D/3D drawings and visualizations for construction projects.Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and assist with cost comparisons.Engage in project planning and coordination.Provide technical support during project planning and on-site implementation, including evaluating project feasibility.Conduct market and user research to gather customer insights.Maintain manuals, reports, and technical documentation.Document product performance, defects, and improvements.Translate customer feedback into actionable product improvements.Support the development of product specifications and requirements (R&D).Support innovation in product applications and field adaptation.Collaborate to develop new products and design concepts.Qualifications & CompetenciesBachelor’s degree in Architecture.1-2 years of experience in design, construction (with alternative building materials, or product development is a plus).Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and similar design tools.Ability to work on-site and support construction teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.Experience with or interest in sustainable building materials.Strong communication skills for both technical reporting and field training.Languages RequiredAmharic and EnglishHow to applyApply now and let’s build something amazing together! jobs@buildkubik.com
