The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities: • Record and reconcile daily sales, cash flow, and bank deposits • Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable • Track inventory purchases and usage; work with the kitchen team to maintain accurate cost reporting • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management • Support payroll processing and ensure proper recordkeeping of staff hours and payments • Handle tax preparation support and assist with external audits • Monitor compliance with internal financial controls and restaurant policies• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives • Communicate with vendors regarding payments, invoices, and statements Requirements • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment • Strong understanding of restaurant-specific financial workflows (e.g., food cost tracking, POS reconciliation) • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (experience with POS systems or restaurant management software is a plus) • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability • Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments • Familiarity with payroll processing and labor law compliance is an advantage
