Apply now!Learn more jti.comPosition Purpose Under the guidance of the Finance Director, oversee and coordinate all financial accounting activities, including intercompany transactions,vendor accounts,construction in progress, fixed assets, and statutory/group reporting. Ensure account reconciliation, manage intercompany loans and interest, and produce financial reports to evaluate performance.Key ResponsibilitiesTo lay down and execute management policies for the department he/she is assigned. Upon obtaining appropriate authorization, to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, dismiss or assign employees reporting to him/her.Plan, Organizes, directs, controls and coordinates the activities related to Financial Accounting (Statutory & Group). Develops and maintains an up-to-date recording system and standard records management procedures.Ensures the proper and efficient maintenance of all official files and documents of the Enterprise.Process journal entries ensuring the inter-company transactions are supported by appropriate documents and schedules for reconciliation, review and ffollow up of the day-to-day status.Initiate payment for Non-residential intercompany non-product related cross charges and follow up to ensure the final payment. Follow up and control inter-company loan and interest, prepare and control the foreign exchange rate for the realized and unrealized movement.Follow and comply with IFRS for financial statements, ensure the accuracy, and timeliness of all financial records including Fixed Assets, Construction In Progress, inventory, intangible assets, etc Supervises the closing of accounts, provides and support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports needed to show the financial position and operations of the enterprise, and other special reports as required. Internal Control responsibilities such as Key Accounts Reconciliation (KAR) are under the mandate of Finance ManagementPosition DimensionsKey Responsibilities & KPIs Timely and accurate statutory audits and financial statement preparationMonth-end closing processesAdherence to JTI reporting deadlinesTeam Leadership Manages a team of 9 direct and indirect reports.Who Are We Looking For?Education University degree/master degree in Accounting, economics or any Finance related fieldsACCA or Chartered Accountancy Qualification strongly recommended Work Experience And Required SkillOver five years of experience in a managerial finance role, with proven expertise in budgeting, financial planning, and management reporting.Skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong analytical, presentation, and communication abilities.
