We provide services to global companies and start-ups across various industries, including healthcare, financial services, technology, and education.You'll be responsible for:Technical Leadership:Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions.Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.Drive technical decision-making and contribute to architectural discussions.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.Project Execution:Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to team members.Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement solutions.Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software projects.Collaboration and Communication:Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including engineers, product managers, and designers.Facilitate technical discussions and knowledge sharing within the team.Process Improvement:Identify areas for improvement in engineering processes and workflows.Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Ideally, you'll have:Proven Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership role.Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and architectural concepts.Programming Proficiency: Excellent programming skills in relevant languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and frameworks.Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.Collaboration: Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.Experience with Agile methodologies. - would be a plus.Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). - would be a plus.Experience with DevOps practices. - would be a plus.Contributions to open-source projects. - would be a plus.Sora Union is committed to creating and fostering a diverse team.
